GMB 2024: ‘I wanted to skip auditions because I had exams’ – Titiaka shares her journey to winning the crown
The new Queen for Ghana’s Most Beautiful (2024), Nihad Titiaka Oases has shared her journey to competing in the contest.
Titiaka, a law student at the University of Professional Studies (UPSA) had initially intended to forego auditions for the contest three months ago as she was writing exams at the time.
However, the latest GMB Queen said “it took the Grace of God” to successfully make it through all the stages of the auditions.
“I was writing exams so I was finding excuses for myself not to even come for the auditions in the first place. But I decided to take that bold step and by the Grace of God I’m here now wearing the crown,” she said on The Afternoon Show, Monday, October 7.
“It’s a dream come true,” she remarked expressing her long-standing aspirations to wear the crown, take home the cash and a brand new SUV car.
Although she said he was uncertain of winning the contest, Titiaka believed in her capabilities and strive hard for the crown with determination to succeed.
“I am grateful to everyone out there that supported me in making history together… I wasn’t sure but I had the belief and I just decided to work for it. It all starts with having that dream.
“Honestly, I wasn’t sure if will be able to do this in the first place. Ghana’s Most Beautiful is the biggest platform and I asked myself ‘Do you have what it takes to wear the crown’, to perform throughout thirteen weeks. I questioned myself a lot and it took the Grace of God for me to even come for the auditions,” she stated.
Titiaka represented the Savannah Region in the contest and emerged winner of Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2024 edition.
The grand finale of the prestigious beauty contest was held on Sunday, October 6 at the National Theatre.
